Eligibility
Criteria:
The age of the candidate should be between 16 to 19
years. The candidate must clear their higher secondary examination. Moreover,
only male candidates can apply for this exam females are not allowed to apply
for this exam. The marital status of the candidate must be unmarried. The
candidate must be a citizen of India or subject of Nepal and Bhutan.
A Tibetan refugee who move to India before the 01st
January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a
person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and
East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia,
Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently
settling in India.
A candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (IV)
and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility
has been issued by the Govt. of India. The candidates who are from Gorkha
subject of Nepal the Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary
for them.
Education Criteria: There are different education
criteria for different cadets which are as follows:
For Army Wing: The candidate must have completed their 12th
class with 10+2 pattern of school education or related education examination
conducted by State education Board or a university.
For Air Force and Navel wings: The candidate must have completed their 12th
with 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and
Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or a university.
Every other applicant who have delivered their Matriculation
and 10+2 pass or equal declarations in original at the time of going to the SSB
Interview and have the equivalent confirmed by the SSB authorities are not
required to submit the equivalent to Army HQ or Naval HQ as the case may be.
Declarations in original issued by the Principals of the
Institutions are likewise acceptable in situations where Boards/Universities
have not yet issued certificates. Certified Photostats or duplicates of such certificates
won't be acknowledged.
Duration of Training:

(For Army cadets) 3 Yrs
at NDA and 1 Yrs at IMA
·
(for naval cadets)3 Yrs at NDA and 1 Yrs at Naval Academy
·
(For AF cadets)3 Yrs at NDA and 1 & ½ Yrs at AFA Hyderabad
NDA Exam Pattern: NDA written exam is divided into two
exams Mathematics and General Ability test and duration of each exam is two and
