Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam

National Defence Academy(NDA) exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) twice a year to recruit candidates for Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA and Naval Academy.
Now I am mentioning all eligibility criteria for NDA Exam which is given below:
NDA Nationality Criteria :
  1. The candidate must be the citizen of India.
  2. A subject of Nepal and Bhutan.
  3. A Tibetan refugee who moved to India, before January 1, 1962 with the intention of settling here permanently
  4. All the foreign nationals are required to produce a certificate of eligibility that has been issued by the Government of India.
NDA Exam Age Limit and Qualification Criteria :
  1. Army Wing of National Defence Academy : Pass certificate in 10+2 exams via recognized board or a University.
  2. Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy : Candidate should have passed Class 12th exam in the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  3. Candidates studying in Class 11 are not eligible for appearing in NDA Exam.
  4. The candidates who are currently studying in class 12th at the time of application must submit the proof of passing the exam by deadline.
  5. The Candidate age should be from 16 to 19 years old.
